• Technical Assistance for Child Care Centers, Family Child Care Homes, and Half Day Programs which include:
• Start-up and licensing preparation of centers & homes
• Teacher-Role modeling and on-site mentoring
• Environment Rating Scales
• Room Arrangement
• Scheduling & curriculum planning
• Administrator mentoring & business development
• Classroom management

• Trainings for providers are offered on a continuing basis through our office. All required trainings are offered along with trainings of special interest and needs. Calendar for scheduled trainings are in each newsletter, online, or are available in our office. Only Resource Library members may register online or by telephone, unless the training is free for everyone. For non-members, you must pay before you can register. Some training, ex. Cleveland Community College Small Business Center trainings, must be paid for at the door by all those attending. Please see details in each training calendar.
  
  * Registration will not be accepted from anyone with an outstanding balance.

• Education Incentive Bonus provides eligible providers with a maximum $150.00 bonus for each college course in Early Childhood Education or in pursuit of a degree in Early Childhood Education and a maximum of 6 hours per semester (Fall & Spring). See guidelines for details. An Application is available for download, in our office, or at Cleveland Community College.
• Quality Enhancement Grants are designed to assist 1 to 3 star facilities increase their licensure level.
• Quality Sustainability Bonus seeks to financially assist child care centers and family child care homes that have achieved a 4 or 5 star rating and are meeting a certain number of high quality indicators.

• The Bridge is Cleveland County’s newsletter that has a variety of age appropriate activity ideas and tips for working with young children. It also includes newsworthy items of interest for providers and parents, along with monthly training calendars.
• The Link is a quarterly regional training calendar for providers in Cleveland, Gaston, Lincoln, and Catawba counties.

• Resource Library offers providers access to great learning tools and the opportunity to borrow different items continuously. Membership is available with payment or an annual fee and offers access to free workshops, free laminating services, free die cuts, and copying & binding services.

• Referrals are provided to parents and families in an objective listing of legal childcare providers without regard to race, religion, sex, age, national origin, or political affiliation to those who choose to list with our agency. Legal childcare providers in Cleveland County can list with Child Care Connections with the following exclusions: 1) Providers with a provisional or revoked license, or 2) Providers with substantiated neglect/abuse complaints within the past 3 years.
